As pertains to Hayesville, it is a great place to live. Hayesville retains the charm of a small southern town but has the advantage of being approximately two hours from several large cities such as Asheville, NC; Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC and Chattanooga, TN.

We have an excellent school system, wonderful churches, bountiful hunting, outdoor recreational opportunities, wonderful fishing on our beautiful Lake Chatuge (approximately 7,000 acres and over 130 miles of shoreline).

I believe you will find the majority of the people here in Hayesville both friendly and courteous.

I am a native of Clay County, (Hayesville being the county seat), having taught Vocational Agriculture here in the local high school and retiring in 1989. I have been with Coldwell Banker since that retirement.
